My 6 year old loves the top bunk and my 2 year old loves the bottom, theyre sturdy and can take my 350lb boyfriend getting on them. Great price, great quality,shipped fast!
The final result of this bed is an A+. But getting there was difficult. The instructions are terrible and there are a million parts. The UP side and the Down sides are not marked nor are the Ladder and non/ladder sides. So, we did make some mistakes in the assembly. At the end it was all put together and we realized we put an H bar on upside down but it was too late and we werent about to disassemble the whole thing. Luckily, we have a friend with power tools who showed up to drill a hole so we could anchor the last part of the ladder. So, in the end, an all/day effort with some frustrating mistakes due to poor instructions still resulted in a satisfaction. The bed is sturdy and perfect for a boys room. I dont know that well ever turn them into two twins but the flexibility to do so is what sold me on this particular bed.
Bought this bed for my 2 boys ages 8 and 10. Its sturdy and stands up to the climbing and jumping from the boys. This is strictly for kids!! I would not put an adult or any person over 125 pounds in these bunks / The support bars are made of plastic and probably would not hold up anything heaver than that.

When it came to putting it together it was a nightmare the holes in the poles were either missing or in the wrong place. It is going back of course I have to wait forever for a refund. And I had to buy my kids a new bunk bed. Check the pieces before u build it and avoid my nightmare. I had it partially built before I realized the problem and putting it together is time consuming.
First, let me say: The price of this item on , combined with super cheap overnight shipping via Prime, made for an aming value. We purchased this bunk bed to replace a bulkier metal bunk bed that we already had set up. It filled that purpose nicely.

Included instructions arent explicit about which parts go where in relation to the mattress frames. Luckily, we read the reviews ahead of time and worked it out based on the diagrams in the instructions (THANKS REVIEWERS!). This seems like something that could easily be resolved by putting letter stickers on the frame pieces, like they do on all of the other pieces, and referencing each piece explicitly in the instructions.

The great packaging means TONS of trash. Every piece of metal is in its own plastic sheath to protect the paint. There is a lot of Styrofoam and cardboard as well.
This bed is a PROJECT to put together. I have owned two bunk beds like this in the past and the bed platforms were welded together resulting in only about 8/10pcs to assemble. This bed comes with many, many more pieces / each slat supporting the mattress must individually be assembled / a time consuming process but once assembled this is a nice bed for the kids. My 4/year old simply loves it and I like the spacious feel on the bottom bunk. Plenty of headroom for the person sleeping on the bottom and the bed has a nice solid feel.
Bought these for my two little ones and they are a great product for the price you pay. price wont kill you and assembly not hard just takes alittle time.
Love that you can take them apart if you want to. Very sturdy. My personal only complaint is the ladder, I wish it came with some padding or was flat steps
not the round ones. I always find myself hurting my bottom of my feet when I climb them, as I am always barefoot in my house. For the kids Im sure this is

I have had this product for a month and a half now and despite the reviews about its assembly complications, purchased it anyway. Just careful assembly is all you need, I was tired and had one of the frame pieces turned upside down, when I went to screw the last screw in for the ladder I realized I had it wrong and needed to tear half of the bed apart. With careful pry technique the center support brackets came off with ease. I bought this bed for my 5 year old daughter, who fell in love with it the moment she saw a second level bed. I weigh 175lbs and climbed onto the top bunk to assure its stability and I would feel comfortable sleeping with my daughter underneath me. Nice solid build. And I am considering purchasing another one here soon.
We looked at many many many bunk beds. They really range in price and often the less expensive ones are not very stable. That is not the case with this one. It is very stable and is an excellent value for the money. We are using it at a second home it is perfect and we didnt spend a few thousand dollars. It took the three of us (yes our 9 year old even helped us put it together) about an hour to assemble. The only annoyance are the little clips that secure the support bars you place the mattress on, they are tough to snap in, but not a deal breaker.
After ordering the bundbeds, we received the shipment within the correct amount of time; however, we only received half of the parts. I called in the issue and they wrote down all the 100 missing parts. One week and two days later, we received that shipment (they refused to ship any way other than UPS ground). We were then missing half of those parts!
When I called in about these missing parts (all the slats and two other parts), they were very rude on the phone, but said they would ship them out. 3 days later, I called for the tracking number and was told that they were not shipped out because my account was flagged as being suspicious because I didnt tell them all the missing parts to begin with. What?! So, Im called a liar and my child is sleeping on a mattress on the floor next to some of the parts of the bed for 3 weeks!
They argued with me for 30 minutes, stated they only had one customer service rep, wouldnt let me talk to the manager or owner. It was a nightmare!
After a total of SIX phone calls and 4 weeks, we received all the parts and my son loves the bunkbeds. It was worth all the ridiculous phone calls just for the smile on his face!

Shipping Catastrophe and Customer Service nightmare, but Love the bunkbed
